REGISTRATION AGREEMENT

I am registering attendance of one or more of the classes provided by Sophia Hanson of my own free will and have full understanding of the following:

These classes are designed to teach me to use my own natural abilities to bring my mind and my body into a state of relaxation.

The instructor Sophia Hanson (trained by The Wise Hippo Ltd), will utilise and teach a variety of techniques to enhance physical and emotional relaxation, and build confidence for the birth of my baby. I understand that my success depends greatly on my own ability and desire to practise what she teaches.

I agree that all materials provided by Sophia Hanson and the Wise Hippo are for my personal use. I will not share them with anyone other than my birthing partner and / or the baby’s father without prior permission.  

The content of these classes is not medical advice. I am aware that I should seek the advice of a medical professional to answer any health-related issues, questions or concerns that I may have surrounding my pregnancy, my labour, or the delivery of my baby.

I certify that I am in good health, both physically and mentally and that there are no health-related problems or reasons why I should not participate in any of programmes run by Sophia Hanson.

Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing to book your birth preparation and hypnobirthing course with me. Before the learning, fun and deep relaxation can begin, here are some simple terms and conditions:

SOPHIA HANSON CANCELLATION POLICY

If you need to re-arrange a private session it can be rescheduled at no extra cost provided you give Sophia 24 hours notice.

If you are in a group programme and miss a session there is an additional charge of £45 per hour to bring you to the same stage as the rest of the group.  If you have ample time in your pregnancy and it’s possible for you to catch up with another group run by Sophia Hanson this will be arranged at no additional charge.

If Sophia Hanson needs to reschedule a class you will be given as much notice as possible, and a new date agreeable to both / all parties will be found. Covid-19 has changed the way we all live and work. For your own health and wellbeing if an in-person class needs to be arranged it will go online ASAP

If your baby surprises you and arrives before you have completed your course, you may of course request a pro rata refund for any sessions you did not complete minus a deduction for the cost of course materials and a £20 administration fee. 

Note: if you are 35 weeks pregnant or more when you begin any of these programmes there are no refunds if your baby arrives before course completion. If you are already beyond week 35 speak to Sophia Hanson about private sessions where you can work together intensively to prepare you for birth.

WHAT IF YOU DECIDE YOU JUST DON’T LIKE THE COURSE OR IT’S NOT FOR YOU? 

It’s never happened before and it’s extremely unlikely to happen now. If for some reason you don’t feel you are getting what you paid for please raise your concerns with Sophia within 24 hours of the session in question.
